Jordana Klein's Portfolio

I graduated from Georgia Southern University in May 2015 with a B.S. in Journalism and overall GPA of 3.75, and I captained their DI women's tennis team. I currently am the Owner of Tennis Itinerary, a tennis travel blog assisting with tennis travel and relocation on a national platform. For each post on Tennis Itinerary, I travel to the specific destination, interview tennis directors and marketing personnel, and develop photos and feature blog post to best market the program. My site assist travels along with marketing and PR staff members to assist with growth and distribution of their tennis programming opportunities.

 

I also freelance on a regular basis for magazines, websites and blogs including but not limited to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), HERO Sports, Alpharetta Lifestyle Magazine, Alpharetta Magazine, Roswell Magazine and Milton Magazine. I am performing interviews and developing stories on a weekly and/or monthly basis for each of these platforms.

 

From June 2015-2016, I worked with USTA Louisiana as the Junior Tennis Director. With this position, I oversaw junior tennis throughout all of Louisiana, promoted events through marketing and communications, utilized customer service skills, created a junior tennis website (www.ltajuniortennis.com), and worked closely with USTA tournament personnel and USTA Southern staff members. 

 

Before accepting this position in Baton Rouge, I held four internships, two freelance writing positions, and one contributing writer: 

• ME Marketing Services Inc.,

• New South Publishing (two years),

• BB&T Atlanta Open Tennis Championships media volunteer/ USTA admin 

• TENNIS magazine 

• Tennis Industry Magazine,

• and Peach State College Sports website.

 

I was also a member of Zeta Tau Alpha for three years at Georgia Southern and regularly volunteered with my chapter to raise money for Breast Cancer and Awareness. I held the fitness chair position for my chapter as well.
